This cross was made for you.
Someone printed this cross, prayed over it, and sent it out — hoping it would find its way to you. It comes with no strings attached, only a message we believe is worth hearing.
God loves you
Not in a vague, greeting-card way — personally, and at great cost. The God who made everything knows your name, knows your story, and loves you more than you can imagine.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”John 3:16
But something is broken
If we're honest, we all know it. We've each fallen short — of our own standards, and far short of God's. The Bible calls this sin, and it separates us from the God who made us. No amount of trying harder closes that gap.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”Romans 3:23
The cross is where God met us
Jesus — God's own Son — lived the life we couldn't and died the death we deserved. On a cross, he took our place. Three days later he rose from the grave, proving that sin and death don't get the last word. That's why we print crosses: not as decorations, but as reminders of the single most important event in history.
“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”Romans 5:8
What God asks of you
Not a cleaned-up life first. Not religious performance. Just faith — trusting that what Jesus did, he did for you.
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”Romans 10:9
If that's the step you want to take, you can talk to God right now, in your own words. Something as simple as:
“God, I know I've sinned and I need you. I believe Jesus died for me and rose again. I'm trusting him with my life. Thank you for loving me. Amen.”
What now?
If you just prayed that — welcome to the family. Here's what we'd encourage you to do next:
Read. Start with the Gospel of John — it's a firsthand account of Jesus's life, and you can read it free atbible.com.
Find a church. Faith isn't meant to be carried alone. Look for a Bible-teaching church near you and just show up — you'll be more welcome than you expect.
Tell someone. We'd love to hear from you, too — it would genuinely make our day. Write us athello@aratoministries.org.
